158 suspected members of the dreaded Islamic sect Boko
Haram have been arrested by a Joint Military Taskforce (JTF) days after a
coordinated bomb attack in the northwestern Nigerian city of Kano left about
200 people dead, says CNN.
There was an exchange of gunfire as some sect members’ resisted arrest by the JTF according to security sources who pleaded anonymity due to their lack of authorization to speak to the media on the issue. No casualty was recorded however, so far.
There has been conflicting reports as to how many lives were claimed during the attack, with community leaders claiming death toll has risen to 211, government of Kano state has pegged it at 185 persons which include a Channels Television film journalist, Enenche Akogwu, who was on active duty.
President Goodluck Jonathan toured the city Sunday after the attacks there left the police headquarters and other government buildings in charred ruins and assured that the government will ensure that it brings to book those responsible for the attack.

I hope, they are the real Boko Haram because I know about our Security operatives. They will arrest the innocent and make them pay the price for the wicked.
