MTN NEW 100MB DATA PLAN

MTN has announced a N1,000 24/7 monthly internet bundle, joining the likes of Zain, Etisalat, and Glo to offer affordable 24/7 internet access. The MTN N1,000 monthly internet bundle is limited to a data usage of 100MB. Before now the cheapest 24/7 internet package from MTN was N10,000, putting it out of the reach of most of its subscribers and making internet cheats very popular for MTN. Hence, a N1,000 monthly internet bundle is likely to be a big relief for MTN subscribers in Nigeria.

The first GSM Network to offer N1,000 24/7 monthly internet bundle was Zain, followed by Etisalat and a couple of weeks ago by Glo mobile. MTN is the last to join the pack. However, Glo mobile offers the most generous, N1,000 monthly internet bundle. While, MTN, Zain, and Etisalat offers 100MB limit, Glo raised the bar to 150MB. One wonders why MTN still went back to 100MB.  

To activate the new MTN N1,000 100MB internet bundle, text 106 to 131. Text 2 to 131 to check your data usage. MTN has also dropped pay as you go browsing to 5kobo/kb from 15kobo/kb.
