Blackberry is very rampant in Nigeria. It is very easy to
fall for the con men who sell the fake ones here. Today I want to show you the
ways in identifying the fake from the original blackberry.
The first way to identify a fake product is by
observation. For instance, the fake NOKIA product maybe called NOKLA. So you
need to check first the packaging of the product you are buying to be able to
tell the original from the fake one.
Observation may be ineffective way of identifying the
fake blackberry from the Original, one can use the unique 15 or 17
International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number of the mobile device to tell
if the blackberry product is of good quality or bad quality.
DETECT
FAKE BLACKBERRY PHONES
Firstly, dial *#06# to display the 15 digits IMEI of the
Blackberry device.
For example: 316725.10.4690216. Take Note of the 7th
and 8th numbers in between the dot. It is called FAC.
The Final Assembly Code (FAC) is a manufacturer-specific
code indicating where the various part of the device was assembled. Countries
are given the code in respect to their quality standards.
Below are some of the codes with their corresponding
quality
